Kuwait Arrests Wanted Persons and Seizes Vehicles in Hawally Crackdown

KUWAIT CITY, Sep 3: In line with the directives of His Excellency the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahd Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, the Ministry of Interior carried out an extensive security and traffic campaign in Maidan Hawally area. The campaign took place from Thursday, September 4, 2025, until dawn on Friday, September 5, 2025, with the participation of all field sectors. It was supervised by the Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs, Major General Hamed Manahi Al-Dawas, and closely monitored by the heads of field sectors.

The campaign achieved the following results:

Issued 1,078 traffic violation tickets.
Arrested 7 individuals for violating residency and labor laws.
Seized 1 vehicle wanted by the judiciary.
Arrested 5 wanted persons.
Impounded 3 vehicles for traffic law violations.
Arrested 1 individual in an intoxicated state.
Arrested 1 individual for possession of alcohol.

The Ministry of Interior emphasized its commitment to intensifying security and traffic operations across all regions, reaffirming that the security of the nation and the safety of citizens and residents remain its highest priorities.
