KUWAIT CITY, Sep 20: Kuwait’s Criminal Security Sector has arrested two expatriates of Syrian and an Indian expats for allegedly promoting, selling and manufacturing unlicensed sexual stimulants, preparations and nutritional supplements.
The Jahra Governorate Investigation Department launched investigations after receiving information that the first suspect was promoting the products through social media, selling them and delivering them directly to customers without a license.
Investigators arrested the Syrian suspect in the Mutlaa residential area, where they found several preparations and KD82 believed to be proceeds from sales. During questioning, he reportedly admitted to obtaining the products from the second suspect.
Further investigations led authorities to the Indian suspect, who was arrested in Farwaniya. According to the Ministry of Interior, the suspect was manufacturing and preparing some of the stimulants and nutritional supplements inside his residence by mixing and grinding tablets and other materials before repackaging them for sale and promotion.
Police seized 151 cartons containing various stimulants and preparations, along with KD226 believed to be proceeds from sales.
Legal action has been taken against both suspects, who were referred to the competent authorities for further proceedings.
