Kuwait Arrests Six for Unauthorized Drone Use Amid Security Measures

KUWAIT CITY, March 22: The Kuwait Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of six individuals for operating aerial photography drones without permits, in violation of recent security directives issued over the past 24 hours.

Brigadier General Nasser Bouslaib said the suspects have been referred to the competent authorities for legal action, reiterating a strict ban on unauthorized drone use during the current period.

He also revealed that Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) teams responded to 12 incidents involving falling shrapnel from interception operations within the past day, bringing the total number of such cases handled since the onset of recent tensions to 484.

Authorities urged citizens and residents to comply with security instructions and avoid photographing or sharing images or videos related to ongoing events, emphasizing the importance of supporting national efforts to maintain safety and stability. (KUNA)
