KUWAIT CITY, Mar 21: The Ministry of Interior has arrested an individual who appeared in a video clip circulating on social media platforms, in which he promoted false and misleading information and figures. The suspect claimed that more than 1,000 individuals had been arrested—an allegation proven to be unsubstantiated and aimed at misleading public opinion and creating confusion.
The individual also made statements calling for amnesty for persons sympathetic to the Iranian enemy. Legal measures have been taken against him, and he has been referred to the Public Prosecution for further action.
The Ministry of Interior stressed the importance of verifying information and relying solely on official sources. It urged the public to refrain from circulating rumors or false news that may undermine public confidence and social stability. The Ministry affirmed that it will take firm action against anyone who spreads false information or seeks to harm the security and stability of society.
