Kuwait Arrests 4 Suspects in Drug Cases, Seizes 1,010 Lyrica Capsules

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 22 : Kuwait’s Criminal Security Sector, represented by the General Department for Drug Control, has arrested four suspects in three separate cases involving narcotics and psychotropic substances in Farwaniya, Riqqa and Dhahr.

The Ministry of Interior said the suspects were found in possession of substances allegedly intended for trafficking and personal use as part of ongoing efforts to combat drug-related crimes.

The seizures included:

1,010 Lyrica capsules
307 sheets of A4 paper soaked in a chemical liquid
100 grams of marijuana
51 grams of methamphetamine
Two precision scales

The ministry said the necessary legal procedures were taken against the four suspects, who, along with the seized items, were referred to the competent authorities for further action.

The Ministry of Interior reaffirmed its continued efforts to combat drug trafficking, seize illegal substances and apprehend those involved in drug-related activities across Kuwait.
