Kuwait Arrests 20 Asian Expats in Gambling Case During Eid Al-Adha Holidays, to Be Deported

KUWAIT CITY, May 31: The Criminal Security Sector, represented by officers from the General Department of Criminal Investigation, has referred 20 Asian expatriates to the Administrative Deportation Department following a security operation in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh. According to a security source, the Criminal Investigation Department had received information about gambling activities taking place inside a house in the area during the Eid Al-Adha holiday. The house was raided, resulting in the arrest of the suspects. Cash and gambling paraphernalia were found in their possession. The suspects were then referred to the Administrative Deportation Department, where they were fingerprinted, which prevents their return to Kuwait or any other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
