KUWAIT CITY, Apr 12: The General Staff of the Army has announced that an inspection and disposal team from the Land Force Engineering Branch is carrying out a controlled operation to handle remnants of shrapnel and unexploded ordnance.
According to the statement, the operation is taking place this morning from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., during which specialists are safely disposing of recovered explosives and hazardous materials.
Authorities clarified that any explosion sounds heard during this period are expected and are part of the controlled disposal process, urging the public not to be alarmed.
The army emphasized that the operation is being conducted under strict safety protocols to ensure public security and the safe clearance of explosive remnants.
