Kuwait Army Conducts Controlled Explosives Disposal, Public Urged Not to Panic

KUWAIT CITY, Apr 21: The General Staff of the Army announced that specialized teams are carrying out the inspection and disposal of shrapnel and unexploded ordnance as part of ongoing safety operations.

According to the statement, the disposal work is being handled by a unit from the Land Force Engineering Branch and will continue until 6:00 PM today.

Authorities warned that residents may hear intermittent explosion sounds during this period, stressing that these are controlled detonations linked to the safe disposal of hazardous remnants.

The army reassured the public that the operations are precautionary and conducted under strict safety protocols, urging residents not to be alarmed by the noise.
