KUWAIT CITY, July 17: Chief of Staff of the Kuwaiti Army, Lieutenant General Khaled Dirj Saad Al-Shreian, on Friday visited several military personnel injured in drone attacks that targeted Kuwaiti Army facilities and camps earlier in the day, following what authorities described as Iranian aggression against the country.

Accompanied by Deputy Chief of Staff, Pilot Brigadier General Sabah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the army chief met with injured members of the Kuwaiti Land Force to check on their condition and review the medical care being provided.

During the visit, the senior commanders received a briefing from medical teams on the health status of the injured personnel and praised the efforts of doctors and healthcare staff for their dedication in providing treatment and care.

Lieutenant General Al-Shreian also conveyed his wishes for the speedy recovery of the wounded soldiers, commending their service and reaffirming the armed forces' commitment to supporting them during their recovery.

The injuries were sustained after enemy drones targeted several Kuwaiti military facilities and camps on Friday morning, prompting an emergency response by the armed forces.
