Kuwait Army Chief Participates in Aqaba Initiative Meeting in Paris

PARIS, Sept 18: Chief of the General Staff of the Kuwait Army Lieutenant General Khaled Draj Saad Al-Sharayan participated in the Aqaba Initiative meeting held in Paris, in the presence of French President Emmanuel Macron, Jordan’s King Abdullah II and Lebanese President Joseph Aoun.

The meeting brought together a number of chiefs of staff, military leaders, experts and representatives of brotherly and friendly countries and international organizations. Discussions focused on ways to support the Lebanese Army and internal security forces and strengthen their capabilities, while also exploring mechanisms for coordinating international efforts and exchanging views on security challenges. The discussions aimed at supporting the security and stability of Lebanon and the wider region. Al-Sharayan’s participation reflects Kuwait’s commitment to strengthening military cooperation and coordination with brotherly and friendly countries and supporting international efforts to promote regional security and stability.
