Kuwait Armed Forces Intercept 7 Drones, Report Damage to National Guard Facilities

KUWAIT CITY, April 10:The Kuwaiti Armed Forces said they monitored and dealt with seven hostile drones entering Kuwaiti airspace over the past 24 hours, handling the threats in accordance with established defensive procedures.

In a statement issued by the Official Spokesman of the Ministry of Defense, Brigadier General Saud Abdulaziz Al-Otaibi said the incidents resulted in damage to several vital facilities affiliated with the Kuwait National Guard, with some personnel sustaining injuries. The injured are currently receiving medical treatment, with their conditions reported as stable.

The statement also noted that military engineering units handled 14 separate reports involving suspicious or hazardous objects, which were dealt with according to standard protocols.

Authorities described the incidents as part of ongoing hostile activity targeting critical infrastructure, adding that the armed forces continue to operate with high readiness and discipline to protect national security and maintain stability across the country.
