Kuwait Armed Forces Destroy Hostile Drones in Early-Morning Iranian Attack

KUWAIT CITY, Jul 31: Kuwait’s armed forces detected hostile drones entering Kuwaiti airspace from dawn on Friday and successfully intercepted and destroyed them, the Ministry of Defense said.

The ministry’s official spokesman, Brigadier General Saud Abdulaziz Al-Otaibi, said what he described as “Iranian aggression” targeted several vital and military facilities. The hostile targets were dealt with and destroyed, he said, adding that falling shrapnel caused material damage but no human casualties were reported.

Al-Otaibi said the armed forces remain fully prepared and continue carrying out their missions with a high level of efficiency and readiness. He added that all necessary measures are being taken to protect Kuwait’s sovereignty and safeguard the security and stability of the country, in coordination with the relevant authorities, while ensuring the safety of citizens and residents.
