KUWAIT CITY, June 13: Kuwait's national indoor soccer team managed another gold finish pulling through the 2022 West Asia FUTSAL Cup with a 5-3 defeat of Saudi Arabia in the closing match held at Al-Naser SC Court. The first half of the match was boosted with 4 goals, thrilling partisans of the match and concluded with a Saudi goal 1-minute before the half time whistle was blown levelling the score 2-2.
The Saudi team managed to snatch the lead as they edged Al-Azraq early in the second half, but that was countered with three goals to acquire an outright victory. Making the tally sheet with a tremendous long shot, Abdul-Rahman Al-Mesbahi said he was very pleased with this sequential accomplishment with another gold medal not long after the 3rd GCC Games, and greatly appreciated the fans support throughout (KUNA)
