KUWAIT CITY, Sept 14: The Civil Service Council has approved the Ministry of Interior's proposal to implement a flexible working system in government agencies. The proposal includes allowing employees to work flexible hours, with the morning attendance period between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., and the dismissal period between 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. This will allow employees to work for seven hours, with a grace period of 30 minutes The Civil Service Council has given government agencies the right to choose between the flexible system or the period system according to their nature and preference.
The implementation of this system has several advantages, including allowing employees to benefit from the grace period at the beginning or end of official working hours, which gives workers in government agencies the right to enter and leave flexibly This system is expected to improve employee satisfaction and productivity by providing them with more control over their work schedules
