KUWAIT CITY, Mar 31: The Kuwait Ministry of Interior has announced that the exceptional deadline for surrendering unlicensed weapons, ammunition, and explosives will end tomorrow, April 1, 2026, at the close of official working hours.
The ministry urged individuals in possession of any unlicensed weapons to surrender them immediately at the nearest police station, noting that those who comply within the grace period will not face legal repercussions.
It warned that after the deadline expires, the law will be enforced strictly and without exception against any violations, stressing that the measure is part of ongoing efforts to enhance public safety and security.
