Kuwait and India step up food security cooperation

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 23: Minister of Commerce and Industry Osama Boodai discussed Sunday with Indian Ambassador to Kuwait Paramita Tripathi opportunities for cooperation in food security and ways to strengthen the strategic stockpile. The Commerce and Industry Ministry said the meeting also addressed developing bilateral relations in trade, economic, industrial and investment fields to enhance mutual interests and support cooperation between the two friendly countries. The two sides exchanged views on issues of common interest and explored opportunities to develop bilateral cooperation, contributing to stronger Kuwait-India relations across various priority areas.
