KUWAIT CITY, June 18: Minister of State for Development and Sustainability Affairs Dr. Reem Al-Fulaij discussed with Australian Ambassador to Kuwait Melissa Kelly ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in environmental and development fields. Al-Fulaij told KUNA on Thursday that the talks addressed some environmental issues of mutual interest and reviewed initiatives and projects aimed at protecting the environment and improving the quality of life. The minister discussed ways to benefit from international expertise and experiences in support of environmental and sustainable development objectives. She praised the strong relations between Kuwait and Australia, stressing the importance of continued coordination and expanding cooperation to support environmental and development goals and advance environmental action in Kuwait.
