Kuwait and Afghanistan sign agreement

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 12: Olympic Committee of Kuwait has signed an agreement of cooperation and coordination in the field of sports with the Olympic Committee of Afghanistan.

According to a press release, the agreement aims at enhancing the exchange of sports-related experiences especially concerning group and self-defense sports as well as organize friendly competitions between the teams of the two countries.

The agreement was signed by the Afghan delegation headed by Director General of Public Authority for Youth and Sport Dr Rahimi Hafizullah, and included Consultant of Afghan President for Youth and Sport Affairs Ajmal Ghani and Secretary of Afghan Public Authority for Youth and Sport Dr Muhammad Yunus.

Head of Olympic Committee of Kuwait Sheikh Fahad Nasser Al-Sabah was informed by the Afghan delegation about the latest developments in the field of sports in Afghanistan.
