Kuwait Amir Representative conveys Kuwait’s condolences in Qatar

DOHA, July 13: Representative of His Highness the Amir, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, arrived in Doha on Monday at the head of an official delegation to offer condolences on the passing of Qatar’s late Father Amir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani. Upon arrival, His Highness was received by Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, Minister of Transport Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdullah Al- Thani, Kuwait’s Ambassador to Qatar Ahmad Abdulrahman Al-Shuraim, and members of the Kuwaiti Embassy.

At Lusail Palace, His Highness conveyed the condolences of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, as well as those of the Kuwaiti people, to Qatar’s Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al- Thani, Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al- Thani, members of the Al-Thani family, senior Qatari officials, and the people of Qatar. His Highness also extended condolences to Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al- Thani, Sheikh Mohammad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Sheikh Jassim bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, and Shura Council Speaker Hassan bin Abdullah Al-Ghanim.

Following the condolence visit, His Highness and the accompanying official delegation departed Qatar and returned safely to Kuwait later the same day. He was seen off at Doha by Qatar’s Minister of Transport Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdullah Al-Thani, Ambassador Al-Shuraim, and members of the Kuwaiti Embassy. The accompanying delegation included Sheikh Mubarak Duaij Ibrahim Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah, Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah, Head of the Crown Prince Diwan Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister of Defense Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, Sheikh Abdullah Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.(KUNA)
