KUWAIT CITY, Oct 23: His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in the presence of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister, Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the strong bilateral relations between Kuwait and Italy and discussed ways to strengthen and develop ties and expand cooperation, particularly in the economic and defense sectors.

They also discussed a number of issues of mutual interest and reviewed the latest regional and international developments.
