Kuwait Amir Honors Martyrs After Recent Attacks, Meets Their Families

KUWAIT CITY, Apr 7: His Highness Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received senior officials and the families of personnel killed in recent attacks, honoring their sacrifices in defense of the country.

During the meeting, the Amir received First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Fahd Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah and Minister of Defense Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, along with the families of the fallen servicemen.

Those honored included Sergeant Walid Sulaiman and Sergeant Abdulaziz Nasser from the armed forces, as well as Major General Abdullah Al-Sharrah and Major Fahd Al-Majmoua from the Ministry of Interior. They were killed while carrying out national duties as part of efforts to confront and deter attacks targeting Kuwait.

His Highness also received the family of Ilna Hussein, an Iranian child who was killed after her family’s home was struck during missile attacks on civilian areas.

The Amir paid tribute to the fallen, recalling their heroism and dedication in serving the nation, and emphasized the importance of their sacrifices in safeguarding Kuwait’s security and stability.
