Kuwait Amir congratulates UN chief on second term appointment

KUWAIT, June 18: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a letter on Friday to congratulate United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres on his reelection for a second term.

His Highness the Amir wished the UN chief success in continuing his efforts to achieve UN goals, and global peace and security along with the prerequisites for global sustainable development. His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah both sent similar messages. (KUNA)
