KUWAIT CITY, May 28: His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received a phone call from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa bin Salman Al-Khalifa, King of Bahrain, during which the two leaders exchanged greetings on the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Adha.
During the call, King Hamad extended his sincere congratulations and best wishes to the Amir, praying that the occasion brings continued prosperity, blessings, and goodwill to Kuwait, Bahrain, and the wider Arab and Islamic world. He also wished the Amir good health and continued well-being, and further progress and prosperity for Kuwait under its wise leadership.
In response, the Amir expressed his deep appreciation for the fraternal gesture. He conveyed reciprocal Eid greetings to King Hamad, wishing him continued health and happiness, and extending best wishes for ongoing development and prosperity for Bahrain under its leadership.
The exchange underscores the strong fraternal relations and longstanding ties between the two sisterly nations.
