KUWAIT CITY, April 10: Kuwait Airways has cautioned against misleading claims circulating on social media regarding alleged “final court rulings” against the company concerning travel privileges of former employees.
In a statement, the airline said it has been monitoring posts and reports claiming that a lawyer had secured rulings related to continued travel benefits, noting that such claims were incomplete and misrepresented judicial procedures. The company alleged that some parties were exploiting limited public understanding of legal processes to gain personal benefit through the spread of partial information.
Kuwait Airways clarified that the case in question involves a preliminary, non-final ruling, adding that previous judgments in similar matters had supported the company’s position and upheld the validity of its procedures and decisions taken in its operational interest.
The airline urged the public and social media users to verify information before sharing it, warning that the circulation of incomplete or misleading news could distort facts and create unnecessary confusion.
