Kuwait Airways to Resume Colombo Flights from April 15

KUWAIT CITY, Apr 7: Kuwait Airways has announced the resumption of its commercial flights to and from Colombo via Dammam Airport starting April 15. Acting CEO Abdulwahab Al-Shatti told that the Colombo route was reinstated due to its importance to the airline’s passengers. He said the company had recently mobilized resources and operational systems to handle travel demand and expand connectivity across key destinations.

Al-Shatti added that the resumption is part of a broader network expansion through Dammam, which already includes routes to cities such as London, Cairo, Istanbul, Lahore, Amman, Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Kochi, and Manila.

He noted that the airline’s total network has now expanded to 11 destinations operated via Dammam.

He also highlighted that Kuwait Airways has introduced a visa application service for residents of Saudi Arabia, provided they hold confirmed bookings with the airline.
