KUWAIT CITY, Jun 11: Kuwait Airways has announced the temporary suspension of all departing and arriving flights following the closure of Kuwaiti airspace on Thursday, June 11, 2026, as directed by the competent authorities.
In an official statement, the airline said operations have been halted as a precautionary measure in line with aviation safety instructions. The suspension will remain in effect until further notice, pending the reopening of the national airspace.
Kuwait Airways added that all affected flights will be rescheduled once operations resume, with updated timetables to be issued immediately after clearance is granted.
The airline also confirmed that passengers who wish to cancel or change their travel plans for today will be exempt from any amendment or cancellation fees during this period.
