Kuwait Airways Resumes Istanbul Flights via Dammam
Kuwait Airways launches new economy class without checked baggage.

KUWAIT CITY, March 27 — Kuwait Airways announced on Friday the resumption of commercial flights to Istanbul via Dammam Airport in Saudi Arabia, as part of a hybrid air-and-ground travel model. Flights to Istanbul will operate twice weekly on Wednesdays and Fridays starting April 1.

Acting CEO Abdulwahab Al-Shatti said passengers bound for Istanbul will be processed at Al Khairan Mall 24 hours before departure, with buses departing for the land border eight hours ahead of flight time from Dammam Airport. Travelers using private vehicles can complete procedures at Al Khairan Mall or the airline’s sales office in Sabah Al Salem before heading to Dammam, where baggage check-in closes one hour before departure. He added that exclusive retail offers will be available for passengers at the mall ahead of travel.
