KUWAIT CITY, Jun 11: Kuwait Airways announced the resumption of all departing and arriving flights following the reopening of Kuwaiti airspace and the return of normal air traffic operations, in line with instructions from the relevant authorities.
The airline confirmed that airspace had been temporarily closed at 4:50 a.m. on Thursday as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety and security of air navigation and passengers.
Kuwait Airways said it is currently working to reschedule flights affected by the suspension and that operations will continue according to the approved timetable.
The airline also confirmed that passengers travelling on Thursday will be exempt from cancellation or modification fees if they choose to change their booking or cancel their flights.
Expressing appreciation to its customers for their understanding and cooperation, the company reaffirmed its commitment to passenger safety and service quality.
