Kuwait Airways cancels several flights amid regional security concerns.
KUWAIT CITY, Mar 22: Kuwait Airways has announced the resumption of scheduled flights to and from Cairo via King Fahd International Airport, with services set to operate four times a week starting Thursday, March 26.
Flights will run on Saturdays, Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays as part of a temporary routing arrangement through Dammam.
Passengers are required to report to the Khairan Mall terminal on Wednesday, March 25 — 24 hours prior to departure. Final check-in procedures and bus transfers to the Nuwaiseeb border crossing will be completed at least eight hours before flight time, after which travelers will proceed to Dammam for departure formalities.
The airline had earlier suspended operations following regional airspace closures and airport shutdowns triggered by escalating tensions, including disruptions that began on February 28.
The resumption marks a gradual return to operations as regional travel conditions begin to stabilize, although temporary transit arrangements remain in place.
