KUWAIT CITY, July 18: Kuwait Airways announced Saturday that it has rescheduled most of its flights following the temporary suspension of takeoff and landing operations at Kuwait International Airport caused by what authorities described as the Iranian aggression targeting Kuwait.
In a statement, the national carrier said the flight schedule was adjusted after airport operations were temporarily halted as a precautionary measure. The airline urged all passengers to closely monitor the status of their flights, noting that updates and notifications would be sent via text messages to the phone numbers registered during booking.
Kuwait Airways advised travelers requiring additional information to contact its customer service center by calling 171 from within Kuwait or +965 24345555 (extension 171) from outside the country. Passengers may also seek assistance through the airline's WhatsApp service at +965 1802050.
The airline expressed its appreciation for customers' patience and understanding during the disruption, emphasizing that the safety and security of passengers remain its highest priority.
Airport operations were temporarily affected after the Iranian attack prompted authorities to suspend flight movements, leading airlines to adjust schedules until normal operations could safely resume.
