KUWAIT CITY, Apr 2: Kuwait has successfully repatriated the bodies of nine Nepali migrant workers and evacuated 318 Nepali stranded citizens to Nepal in a major overnight operation on Wednesday.

The mission was carried out using a chartered Kuwait Airways Boeing 777-300, which landed at Gautam Buddha International Airport.

Authorities described the operation as part of ongoing efforts to assist Nepali nationals affected by recent developments in the region. The evacuated passengers are expected to undergo standard arrival procedures, while arrangements have been made to hand over the remains to the families of the deceased.

Nepal officials emphasized the government’s commitment to ensuring the safety and welfare of its citizens abroad, particularly during times of crisis.
