Kuwait Airways Looks to Enhance Competitiveness with Ticket Price Reduction

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 21: According to informed sources, the Board of Directors of Kuwait Airways Corporation (KAC) is now studying the possibility of reducing airline ticket prices. The study also includes reducing the cost of modifying the reservation. They explained that such a study was launched following several repeated complaints from citizens and others, especially since the competing airline companies benefit from the high prices of the Kuwait Airways tickets.

The Board of Directors of KAC, which was formed at the beginning of September 2023, took it upon itself to develop the path of Kuwait Airways in all its sectors as a national carrier to achieve the ambitions of its customers. Kuwait Airways also seeks to increase the number of passengers to 5.5 million in 2025, and has plans to increase its fleet from 33 to 50 by 2030.
