Kuwait Airways hosts its annual Ramadan Ghabqa

Kuwait City, Mar 24: As part of its annual customary events and initiatives, and within the framework of strengthening relations among its employees, Kuwait Airways hosted its annual Ramadan Ghabqa held under the patronage and presence of Kuwait Airways Chairman, Captain Abdulmohsen Salem Al-Fagaan and the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Captain Ahmad M. Alkreebani. The event also had the attendance of the former Chairman, Captain Sami Al-Nisf, numerous officials, and employees.

The Ghabqa held at the Kuwait Airways headquarters is part of the company’s initiatives to enhance social communication among employees and strengthen relations between them, bearing witness to the spirit of friendship, and unity of being one family. The celebration is also exceptional as it coincides with the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Kuwait Airways. Through the event, the company also aims at fostering and enhancing a positive and productive team spirit, in addition to contributing and consolidating relations between the members of the Blue Bird family.

In his opening speech to the employees at the Ghabqa event, Kuwait Airways Chairman, Captain Abdulmohsen Al-Fagaan welcomed the attendees and extended his sincere congratulations to those present on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. Al-Fagaan stated, “Kuwait Airways recently completed the 70th anniversary of its establishment. The people of this country have been accustomed to seeing the company soar high in the sky of achievements throughout these eras commencing from its establishment, which has been accomplished with the efforts, and commitment of its employees, thus enabling Kuwait Airways to attain numerous remarkable achievements in the world of aviation.”

Al-Fagaan added, “As the national carrier of the State of Kuwait, Kuwait Airways continuously strives to be at the forefront, which the former Board of Directors have endeavoured to accomplish, regardless of their circumstances, strategies, and work plans. We are grateful for their endeavours and appreciate their efforts, which is being accomplished today by the Board of Directors, invoking the blessings of God Almighty for further achievement and progress.”

Al-Fagaan extended his sincere thanks and gratitude to the company’s success partners starting with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, the Ministry of Interior with its various associated departments, the General Administration of Customs, and Incheon Corporation, who have spared no effort in supporting the national carrier of the State of Kuwait to achieve success and to attain its desired objectives. In addition, he also conveyed his good wishes to everyone for further progress and development under the political leadership.
