Kuwait Airways granted approval to issue aviation medical permits

UWAIT CITY, Feb 6: Kuwait Airways announced its aviation medicine department was approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to issue medical permits related to the aviation field.

Expatriate passengers departing to their home countries on Saturday, the last day before the 2-week closure of Kuwait International Airport by the authorities due to the spike in the corona cases.

The permits allow all aviation employees and companies to execute their duties safely around the world, Kuwait Airways CEO Adel Al-Sanea said in a statement on Saturday. Kuwait Airways is now the only institution issuing aviation medical permits in Kuwait, he added. (KUNA)
