KUWAIT CITY, Aug 23: Kuwait Airways has denied rumors circulating about the conversion of confirmed First Class and Business Class bookings to Economy Class, describing the claims as false and without basis.

The national carrier said it remains committed to confirmed bookings and the travel classes reserved by passengers. It clarified that if operational circumstances ever require a change to a confirmed booking, the matter will be handled in accordance with established procedures.

In such cases, Kuwait Airways said passengers will be contacted directly and informed of any changes. The airline added that passengers’ rights will be preserved, including any compensation to which they may be entitled under applicable international standards and practices.

The airline also assured passengers that they would not be required to bear financial costs or consequences arising from operational procedures or requirements.

Kuwait Airways urged customers to rely on the airline’s official communication channels for accurate information about bookings and flights. The company said the clarification reflects its commitment to transparency, maintaining high service standards and protecting passenger rights.
