KUWAIT CITY, Nov 14: Abdullah Al-Rajhi, spokesperson for the General Directorate of Civil Aviation, announced that Kuwait International Airport was hit by dense fog early in the morning, causing horizontal visibility to drop to less than 100 meters from around 3:30 a.m. He explained that such low visibility poses significant risks to aircraft during takeoff and landing, prompting authorities to divert several inbound flights to airports in neighboring countries for safety.
Al-Rajhi added that flight operations began to gradually return to normal at approximately 7:45 a.m., once weather conditions improved and visibility increased enough to allow safe movement of aircraft.
