KUWAIT CITY, Mar 1: Following a drone attack on Kuwait International Airport (T1) two days ago, which caused limited damage to airport facilities, all relevant state agencies swiftly mobilized to secure the site and ensure the safety of staff and passengers, the Civil Aviation Authority confirmed.

Security, military, and administrative teams coordinated closely, fully evacuating the airport and implementing approved emergency procedures. Army units, working alongside the Ministry of Interior and the Civil Aviation Authority, conducted thorough inspections to verify the area’s safety. Authorities have also begun damage assessments, repairs, debris removal, and operational adjustments to restore normal airport services as quickly as possible.
