Kuwait Air Force show draws huge crowd of citizens, expats at Towers

Caracal, Eurofighter, F-18 aircraft part of event

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 26: On the occasion of the national holidays, the Ministry of Defense presented an air show by the Kuwait Air Force on Monday afternoon in front of the Kuwait Towers amid a large presence of citizens and residents. An exhibition was also held that brought together all the Kuwaiti army units to inform the public about the tasks and duties of the armed forces. In a related context, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Defense Colonel Hamad Jassim Al-Saqr confirmed the participation of Caracal aircraft from the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Interior, as well as the Eurofighter and F-18 aircraft in the air show.

In a press statement, Colonel Al-Saqr said, “We extend our highest congratulations and blessings to the shrine of His Highness the Amir of the country Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, who is the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and to the citizens and residents of this good country. Through this air show, we remember the sacrifices of our righteous martyrs during the invasion, especially the members of the armed forces who provided the finest examples of redemption, sacrifice, and defense of the homeland.” Colonel Al-Saqr explained that the exhibition affiliated with the Ministry of Defense was attended by military officers from various units of the Kuwaiti army. A group of weapons, equipment and capabilities of the armed forces was displayed at the exhibition, along with details about each equipment and weapon, and the tasks of the armed forces. He highlighted the participation of a large number of citizens and residents in the Ministry of Defense’s exhibition that was held opposite the Kuwait Towers on February 25 and 26. Colonel Al-Saqr prayed that Almighty Allah will continue to protect Kuwait, its Amir and its people from all evil and harm.
