Kuwaitis celebrate during the opening match against Vietnam.
JAKARTA, Jan 28: Kuwait looks to recover from its opening loss when it takes on Thailand at 1:00 p.m. today in its second Group B match at the AFC Futsal Asian Cup finals in Jakarta, Indonesia.
In the group’s other fixture, Vietnam will face Lebanon. In the opening round, Kuwait narrowly lost to Vietnam 5–4, while Thailand secured a 2–0 win over Lebanon.
The clash with Thailand offers Kuwait a crucial chance to regain momentum and strengthen its bid to advance from the group stage.
