Kuwait adds 6 medals at West Asia Fencing Championship

MANAMA, Sept 4 (KUNA): Kuwait’s national fencing team extended its impressive performance at the West Asia Championship in Bahrain, which featured 310 athletes from 10 countries.

On the fifth day of competition at Al-Najma Sports Club, the team claimed six more medals, bringing their total to 31.

In the Under-17 Girls’ Sabre, Sahar Al-Omair won gold, Suhad Al-Naqeeb took silver, and in the Under-17 Girls’ Foil, Farah Al-Rashidi earned bronze.

On the boys’ side, Khaled Al-Houli secured gold in the Under-17 Epee, while Maryam Al-Ghais and Fatima Qasim took silver and bronze, respectively, in the Under-17 Girls’ Epee.
