KTV’s Eid programs deserve commendation

KUWAIT CITY, May 16: The efforts exerted by the Kuwait Television throughout the Eid Al-Fitr holidays deserve to be commended and appreciated, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily said the television sector brought joy to the people of living on the good land of Kuwait. Among the pro-grams the Kuwait TV broadcast live included a program ‘Eid and a crescent moon’, which included many contests and singing competitions which received a positive response by viewers, internally and externally, especially as it opened the way for viewers to participate in the program to win the prizes offered by the Ministry of Information.

The program team consisted of the distinguished journalist Saad Al Khalaf, moderator Naif Al Neama, and the director Muhammad Buland. In the program many singers participated such as Faisal Al-Saad, Sultan Al-Muftah and Salah Hamad Khalifa. Among the varied songs, especially Eid songs included ‘Eid Is Hilala’ and ‘Barko Ya Ahbab’. Maestro Ahmed Al-Oud delighted Ku-wait TV viewers at home and abroad. Meanwhile, ‘Eagle Films’, producer Jamal Sinan, has launched a new series consisting of 8 episodes under the title ‘Angel of Mercy’ in Kuwait, reports Al-Anba daily.

Actress Sejoun returns this time with director Muhammad Samir and writer Ahmed Al-Awadi to present a story – not a fantasy, a social drama centered on crime, strangeness and psychological disturbances, in a different role with a group of Gulf stars, including Hessa Al-Nabhan, Abdullah Abdul-Reda, Maram Al-Balushi, Ghadeer Al-Sabti, Abdullah Al-Turkmani and Hassan Ibrahim. It is noteworthy to mention the work will be promoted by ‘Cotwil’ company for artistic production.
