KUWAIT CITY, July 18: The Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) announced Saturday that one of the oil sector’s vital facilities was targeted in repeated Iranian attacks, resulting in significant material damage and several injuries.

In a statement carried by the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), KPC said the injured personnel received medical treatment and the site was evacuated as a precautionary measure.

The corporation added that it is coordinating with relevant state authorities to respond to the incident and manage the situation.

KPC did not disclose the specific location of the affected facility or provide further details on the extent of the damage.
