KPC announces LPG prices for August

KUWAIT CITY, July 30: Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) announced Thursday new prices for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for August, setting propane at USD 620 per metric ton and butane at USD 640 per metric ton. KPC said in a statement to KUNA that the new prices will apply throughout August, with propane and butane serving as key feedstocks for the petrochemical industry as well as fuels for cooking, heating and other uses. The corporation noted that LPG prices are influenced by fluctuations in global oil prices, which are a key pricing benchmark, in addition to market supply and demand dynamics and other factors. (KUNA)
