KUWAIT CITY, Aug 26: The CEO of Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) Ahmad Al-Eidan has implemented a series of organizational changes that will take effect next Tuesday. Haif Khaled Al-Huwaileh has been appointed as Director of Operations for North Kuwait. A decision on the Director of Operations for West Kuwait has been postponed. Mohammed Fahad Al-Otaibi has been appointed as Director of Operations Support. Ali Hussein Qassem has been appointed Director of Operations Safety Management in the Commercial and Project Engineering Directorate.

According to informed sources, these administrative changes go beyond mere reshuffling and form a fundamental pillar for strengthening Kuwait’s oil security and enhancing operational efficiency. The new appointments will contribute to accelerating tactical decision-making and supporting the state’s strategic plans aimed at increasing production capacity and meeting global market demand, in addition to strengthening the safety of assets and infrastructure.

These structural changes will bring significant benefits to the oil sector, including delegating authority to qualified national leaders, ensuring production stability, and supporting the state’s ambitious plans. The new appointments also aim to strengthen governance and occupational safety systems that protect petroleum assets and minimize risks at facilities.
