KNPC to launch LNG pumping

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 27: Ahmadi Refinery in Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) is working on the final preparations for the launching of liquefied natural gas (LNG) pumping operations in the key network of the Ministry of Electricity and Water, reports Al-Rai daily quoting sources.
Sources said the Gollar Gas Liquefaction Plant and first LNG ship for the new season with load of 137,000 cubic meters reached the specified sites in the refinery, affirming the lines are being prepared to start pumping operations within the next few days. Sources added the arrival of LNG shipments and pumping operations in the key network are carried out based on the advanced plans as per the requirements of the ministry.
