KUWAIT CITY, Jan 2: The General Directorate of Traffic has announced the full closure of King Fahd Al-Malik Al-Sabah Road, opposite Al-Qurain Markets, in the direction of King Fahd bin Abdulaziz Road. The closure will extend from the intersection at Al-Muqowa Road traffic signal (Airport Road) to the Municipality Building traffic signal. The road will be closed from Thursday, January 1, 2026, until Saturday, January 3, 2026, to allow for essential maintenance work.

In a separate announcement, the General Directorate of Traffic stated that Jordan Street will be closed starting from Mohammad bin Al-Qasim Street in the direction of Al-Ghazali Road (Road 60). This closure will take effect from Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 2:00 am until Monday, January 5, 2026, at 3:00 am, also for scheduled road maintenance.

Motorists are advised to use alternative routes and follow traffic instructions during the closure periods.
