KIB wins prestigious award from WUAB – Al-Dawli named ‘Best Islamic Bank with Diversified Services and Innovative Products’

KUWAIT CITY, May 15: Kuwait International Bank (KIB) continues its proven track record locally and regionally by adding a new triumph to its achievements; the “Best Islamic Bank with Diversified Services and Innovative Products” instituted by the World Union of Arab Bankers, which brings together more than 500 members from Arab bankers.

The Arab Banks Awards and Commendations of Excellence 2016 was organized for the second year in a row, where The Banking Executive Magazine in cooperation with Executive Magazine crowned the best banks in the Arab world. KIB Chairman, Sheikh Mohammad Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah, received the award at a ceremony hosted in Casino Du Liban on May 12th in the presence of senior bankers and business representatives from various regional and international financial institutions.

Commenting on this breakthrough, KIB Chairman, Sheikh Mohammad Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah expressed his gratitude to receive this outstanding award that confirms, once again, the leadership of the bank at all levels, especially when it comes to providing a full range of quality banking services. He added that the bank always strives to develop and introduce innovative products and services that meet customers’ demands and expectations. “Our customers are our top priority, that’s why we attempt to understand their needs and provide them with the best solutions to answer their growing demand, whether for individuals or corporate.  As a result, we stand today at the forefront of the Islamic banking industry locally and abroad, and we have become a role model for innovation, and service quality and diversity,” Al-Jarrah affirmed.

He stated that KIB’s sequential achievements and awards that he received lately like the “Best Sharia Compliant Bank in the Middle East” Award for 2015 from Capital Finance International, and the “Best Islamic Bank in Kuwait” Award from World Finance for the third year in a row and others are a solid recognition of its distinction and leadership in the Islamic banking sector, as well as an obvious proof of customers’ trust, and sound reputation.
