NEW YORK, Jan 17: Kianna Underwood, a former cast member of Nickelodeon’s “All That,” was killed Friday morning in a hit-and-run accident in Brooklyn, authorities confirmed. She was 33.
The incident occurred just before 7 a.m. at the intersection of Pitkin Avenue and Mother Gaston Boulevard in the Brownsville neighborhood, when a sedan struck Underwood while she was crossing the street. She was reportedly dragged nearly two blocks. No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing, the NYPD said.
Underwood appeared on seven episodes of the final season of “All That” in 2005 alongside Amanda Bynes, Nick Cannon, and Kenan Thompson. She also voiced Fuchsia Glover, the cousin of the title character on Nickelodeon’s animated series “Little Bill,” appearing in 23 episodes from 1999 to 2004.
In addition to her television work, Underwood appeared in Nancy Savoca’s 1999 comedy film The 24-Hour Woman, starring Rosie Perez, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, and Patti LuPone. She also provided voice work for the animated TV movie Santa, Baby (2001) and toured with the musical Hairspray.
“All That,” which ran from 1994 to 2005, was a children’s sketch comedy show known for pop culture parodies and weekly musical guests, while Little Bill followed the adventures of a young boy navigating everyday life in Philadelphia.
Underwood was born in New York City and had a long career in television, film, and theater, leaving a lasting impact on Nickelodeon audiences and beyond.
