KUWAIT CITY, July 24: Kuwait’s Food Authority has destroyed 61 kilograms of rotten fish seized from a seafood restaurant in the Khaitan area and issued two violations against the establishment.

The authority said inspectors found the restaurant involved in violations related to selling food items unfit for human consumption and trading adulterated food products.

Following the inspection, the confiscated fish was destroyed, while the necessary legal measures were taken against the restaurant for breaching food safety regulations.

The Food Authority continues its inspection campaigns across restaurants and food establishments in Kuwait to ensure compliance with health standards and protect consumers from unsafe food products.
