The Kuwait Football Association President Sheikh Ahmad Al-Yusuf Al-Sabah.

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 11: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC), based in Kuala Lumpur, has announced that the third edition of the Presidents and General Secretaries Conference for National and Regional Football Associations 2025 will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from October 17 to 19. The event will see Kuwait represented among a distinguished group of football leaders and experts from across Asia and around the world.

The Kuwait Football Association (KFA) will be represented by its President, Sheikh Ahmad Al-Yusuf Al-Sabah, and Acting Secretary-General, Dr. Saleh Al-Majroub. The conference will take place under the patronage of AFC President and FIFA First Vice President Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, and will be attended by FIFA President Gianni Infantino.

In a statement, Sheikh Salman described the conference as a key platform in advancing Asian football, highlighting the AFC’s continued commitment to helping all member associations achieve sustainable growth through unity, innovation, and excellence.

The conference program features two main sessions — the first involving representatives of national football associations, and the second bringing together general secretaries from the five regional zones: ASEAN, Central Asia, East Asia, South Asia, and West Asia.

These sessions aim to empower football leaders with modern administrative and technical strategies to address emerging challenges and strengthen institutional performance across the continent’s football federations.
